I used to think that it stood for Bretholamue, Bretthanael(Brethanael), Bretford, or perhaps even Bretrick, but now I think it stands for Bretton. What does it really stand for?

brett: (v) to fail to decide promptly, not make up one's mind, delay, equivocate

Many folks brett over whether to buy a new car.

If this makes it into the Urban Dictionary, you saw it here first.

    The...
To Brett, or not to Brett...that is the question.

The pretty girl had a Brett in her hair until her daddy showed up.

Once they go Brett, they'll never go back.

By trying to make prompt decisions, I ameliorated my bretting.

Bretting is the evil twin of procrastination. Instead of not getting things done, you never get them started.

I'm embarrassed to say that once the "real answer" came into play...I seem to have instigated this...
