What HDTV looks like.

    For those who haven't seen what HDTV looks like, this is a pretty good site that has screenshots from various HDTV programming.

    Everytime I goto Sears Im practically drooling over the HDTVs, and all thats showing is the demo channel, Id love to see HBO or Showtime, but they have the 6000 in the backroom.

    The demo channel will always look better than HBO or Showtime because the demo channel broadcasts HD video source material, rather than film material converted to HD. With film, you almost always get grain in the picture because that's what the director of the material intends you to see. You don't get the grain in the video material, so you've seen HD as good as it gets by watching the demo channel.
