So if your local RSN is mirrored on CI, the CI channel is blacked out?

That's the way it is and always has been.

I wouldn't buy a single thing a CSR had to say about the situation at this point. Come Nov. 1 we'll really see how it all plays out.

My guess is the FSNs will go dark. CI will have SD feeds for all games but only HD feeds for those games not on a FSN.

I see no reason for the HD feeds to go away. It's not like DirecTV is going to actually take the channels off the satellites. So since they'll still be there, might as well keep using them for CI.

This is a good point since Fox isn't the ones pulling the channels. I hope DirecTv does leave the HD feeds up for CI. But it wouldn't surprise me if they pulled the HD feeds in protest of Fox and gave us the bare minimum they are required to with the CI subscription.

Yes. Blackouts will still apply and fox sports detroit will be taken off the air so you'll be dead in the water to see the Wings.

Fox can't pull the channels in regards to NHLCI.
I don't think DirecTV has that much contempt for their subscribers, especially the ones who get the OOM sports packages. At least I'd hope they don't.

    SR posted this.

Center Ice customers will not lose their Fox feeds as part of the NHL Center Ice Package

For clarity, dual feeds may not be as readily available during this time, but you will be able to see the games.

well maybe then D* should add WGN HD, ALL TSN HD and ALL rogers HD (TSN and rogers do show some US vs US teams games on them) USE back haul feeds in HD, and other ways to side step FSN.

Despite the current dispute between DIRECTV and Fox (which includes Fox RSNs), games will NOT be interrupted in the NHL Center Ice package. All games will be available on their regularly scheduled network and will appear on their normal channel...

Interesting. I don't think the NBA Season Pass does theirs that way. If I remember correctly, you can tune into it on either the Season Pass channels (either the home or away one), or the channel it's appearing on in the sports package in the 600 range (provided you bought Season Pass of course).

It's the same for NHLCI and MLBEI. What I was saying is that if your RSN is blacked out, the NHLCI channel will be blacked out because they're the same channel.

No it isn't. The opponents feed is blacked out but the local rsn is visible both in the 600s and 700s.

Never mind. Saw your later post after I posted.

I open background tabs for posts I want to respond to while I'm catching up on the thread to avoid this sort of thing. Just a suggestion.
