I would like to suggest a feature that is not in the list. I consider this very low hanging fruit (i.e.- easy to implement).

When watching a recorded or bufferred program with 2 or more people, it can become quite disorienting for the person(s) without the remote when the person with the remote starts using the trickplay buttons (30-second skip, 7-second replay). During football, onlookers can get confused as to whether the person with the remote jumped forward or backwards. Especially when several trickplays are performed in a row.

My suggestion is that D* implement translucent icons that appear for 2 seconds (1 full second with a 1 second fade out) at the bottom right or bottom left of the screen to indicate when the 30-second skip or the 7-second replay buttons are pressed. Check the old ReplayTV interface which does this 100% correct IMO.

This would significantly enhance the user experience for almost no cost.

I voted "erratic remote." It appears that DirecTV will NEVER fix CIG. That's been a problem since I got my HR20 2 1/2 years ago.

Erratic remote for me. I would have also selected overall speed if you could choose 2 selections.

I voted for autotune. I have very happy with the speed of both of my receivers but would like to tune to a channel rather than having to record it to remember to watch a show live.

Speed - it's not horrible now, but more speed is always a welcome thing!

I voted for other, since the last SW download and for the first time ever I am having video and audio issues, pauses and audio dropouts with a frequency that is seriously affecting my "viewing pleasure." To the point I would have a hard time recomending DTV, if I had not had several years without this problem. So I'm hoping for "work under the hood" before anything else.

All these things are nice, but as a premium sports subscriber (NHLCI) CIG is, and ever has been, the number one issue. The fact that this issue hasn't been fixed in the three years that I have had my HR20 is a disgrace! Autorecord is virtually useless without a functioning CIG (or the ability to edit the channels it searches from).

Yep, both are not only very important, but the cause of both problems is probably related.

In some cases, speed is still horrible. Last week, the playlist on my HR21-100 went from coming up almost instantly to taking 6-7 seconds to come up, and while delete speed improved slightly from the previous week's horribly slow performance, it's still painfully slow.

Fix the speed issues and the currently number two vote getter probably is fixed, too.

I voted change press and hold because it's not being addressed and it flat out does not work. I have 3 HR20-100s and none have speed issues on NR. I know I am in the minority here. I know this is a huge issue for many but speed is being worked on continuously. I also have remote issues but they come and go with the CEs and again it is being worked on.

Only one real gripe. I can't record all the shows I want to because my prioritizer is full. This seems an easy fix that they don't seem to want to do. Voted for other anyway. Poll works fine in Safari.

Well done survey - but difficult to pick a single item. I found myself wishing I could vote for one item in each fix, add, and change category.

Ultimately I went for autotune mostly to keep it alive but the most irritating deficiency for me is speed/response. Just now I wanted to change the channel to 260 - and got 60, 26, 20, etc.
