According to their website it was supposed to launch today.
    Didn't D* say they'd carry it?

    http://www.rfdtv.com/HD.asp
"RFD HD will officially launch on Nov. 1 on many of the same satellite and cable systems that now carry RFDTV. RFD HD is being offered as a basic channel to your system’s HD package, to be included with all of their other HD basic channels (ESPN HD, Discovery HD, CNN HD, etc.) carried by your cable or satellite provider. Viewers interested in receiving RFD HD should contact their local cable and/or national satellite system provider to request and/or confirm that your system will be carrying RFD HD."

A channel that has been on D* in SD for awhile.Programming consists for the most part of farming and agriculture.Old school country music fans would recognize some of the musical content they air on that channel too. :)

Okay, so not a channel I have any interest in. Not that it isn't a good channel or one that shouldn't be carried, but clearly not my cup of tea.

I had just never heard of it. And when I went to the site, it looked like it was tractor pulls and horse shows, but I figured there must be more to it than that.

When I saw this thread, I initially thought it was a joke. RFD would be one of the last channels I would suspect ever being in HD.

If they can broadcast the skateboard channel in HD, they can do this channel.

Heck, half of ESPN is Poker in HD...

In my neck of the woods there is.

That said, I've flown over the mid-west, and where this channel is popular......maybe not. ;)

So it has stock tickers for Archer Daniels Midland and Cargill :eek2:

It's actually got a lot of quasi religious programming related to the FFA from what I caught of it.
