You deleted too much from the inserted text.

The first line in the PDF reads: "Currently this method results based...."

Need to insert the word "provides" after method. I also think it needs to retain the initial lead in since it's just date/time browsing that was affected, but that's a minor point compared to the lost word.

I'll restore the one word, but it's too long. I don't want to make the text smaller.

Edit: I replaced one page on the PDF, had to move a word around here or there. Hopefully it works for you guys.

Looks very good, Stuart. Thanks for putting this together and working in all the edits.

Thanks as well to Doug for running the test and to Directv for giving us the opportunity to help out. :)

    +1

It's such a pleasure to be part of such an awesome team. It's very cool to see the stuff we've tested out there in "production" knowing that at some level, our input made it what it is.....

    Looks good Stuart.

And just an FYI... I'm heading out on a cruise tomorrow until next week. I won't be able to participate while away. So, if something comes up that we need to test, I obviously won't be here.

    Have a great week guys!

The way it will work is... when your staff are told that the product is now public, we'll post a news item along with the familiar "First Look" thread. We could get a week's notice or 10 minutes notice.

    How's that for a non-answer?

Yeah, I guess I know the drill.

Just wondering, as I expect to be using it quite a bit at the soccer fields again this weekend since I'll be trapped there most of the day Saturday and Sunday. Some of the people I know there are Directv subs and I was hoping to be able to show it off. I guess I'll sneak around and use the app when no one's around like I did last weekend. :p

Most likely the app has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting approval. I'm really starting to dislike Apple's whole review process for every single app. I dread the day when my own app is finally ready for submission and I have to deal with the annoying wait for approval.

And, that annoying wait is going to get longer in June when 3.0 is released.

This isn't even my "fanboyness" speaking... but why don't you like the review process? I'm glad they do it... Keeps the total garbage and/or potentially harmful apps out of the store...

What's the review time for an app once it's submitted?

I agree, I just wish they were quicker at it. They have proven how slow they are with apps in the past...kinda ridiculous (by slow, I mean weeks to get approval).

O well, I do agree with your point though, help keeps a lot of crap out of the store. The downside is that Apple gets to decide on everything and a lot of cool apps never make it because of that.
