I believe I have a LNB assembly that is bad. More specifically, I believe the multiswitch in the LNB is not working properly. I have tried multiple receivers that all work fine on another Slimline dish. I get random blank channels when I change channels and sometimes I get signal readings on 101 of 0 on all but a few transponders. One receiver did show a Multiswitch error message once and when I tried an hr10-250 it reported a right side error on 110 and left side error on 119. However, on the HR20-700 my problems come with 101. Any Ideas? I have checked the wires and I do not have an external multi-switch.

For the record, this is not at my house but for a friend.

    Thanks for your help.

At this time DirecTV does not ship replacement LNB's directly to customers. If you don't want to deal with a service call, you can find them on eBay at times, or you can buy the whole dish either on eBay or from an online vendor.

If you have the protection plan, it's covered.
