will this drive work?

    its a 1TB western digital drive. Should it work with the HR20 using an enclosure

    It's the "enclosure" that is the key to the puzzle...

    The drive will most definently work... but it is the enclosure that communicates with the HR20/21

    I plan on adding it with a second 1TB drive and now I am searching for an enclosure. any suggestions

    I believe this is the full retail boxed version of the WD10EACS - same drive different packaging. I have one of both and they work fine in the Antec MX-1 cases.

    I don't really know. I have not looked into any esata RAID systems. 1tb was enough for me.

    I believe it's your only option in this case. The HR20/21 will not use more than one drive. The only way to use more than one drive is with RAID hardware that presents the array to the HR20/21 as a single drive.
