Directv posted on the directvpromise website

you can get new original episodes of “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” on Hulu.com, likely as soon as tomorrow afternoon.

They usually have the previous days episodes on http://www.thedailyshow.com/full-episodes (and http://www.colbertnation.com/full-episodes/ if you are also interested in that).

The only other shows I watch on those channels are the weekend powerblock shows on Spike. I *think* those are all online over at http://www.powerblocknetwork.com too, but I haven't had the time to find out if they've posted the new ones yet.

Edit: I forgot about Tosh and Workaholics, I watch those too, but they will the re-ait at some point, they rerun them so much.

The dispute will be resolved eventually, and DirecTV will end up paying more than they were under the old contract, but DirecTV will not end up paying as much as Viacom was asking for when Viacom pulled their channels from DirecTV. There is absolutely no reason for DirecTV to give in now.

If it was meant to be complimentary, then it'd also require an authorization, just like HBO GO.

If they wait long enough, then they will end up paying less overall because of all the months they wont be paying for the service.

Anyone can watch The Daily Show on their web site. When ever they have the extended interviews, I see them on the web site.

Good. Now there is absolutely no reason for DirecTV to bring back the Viacom Channels. That was the only show I ever watched of theirs.

Andy Griffith re-runs on TVland? I can watch that a million places online, if I cared to.

There's also colbertnation.com, for streaming of The Colbert Report (previous day's episode), for anyone who is missing that show too.

Yea, but I'd rather watch it on big TV in HD. Usenet is good for that. :sure:

I think we all can find the other threads on this topic.
