I only have a few subscribed threads with email notification.

If I see any thread that looks interesting then I subscribe, and then I hit the bookmark for "subscribed threads" all day long from either Firefox or the iPhone App, along with an occasional click on the "new posts" bookmark for anything new that may have popped up. That's how I found this thread. Been a great process over the past few years.

Wake up ... click Twitter (~20 feeds), iGoogle/Google Reader (~30 feeds), DBSTalk "subscribed" (~100-200 threads), one other Forum ... and maybe ESPN every once in a while ... a good way to keep informed.

    Winters,...
I have over 1,000 threads I've subbed to. Big whoops! Simply because I sub to every thread I've posted to. Probably 80% of those are dead and will never show up in User CP, but is there a real advantage to cleaning that out?

Edit- No e-mail notifications except CE stuff.

I've always wondered that myself. A few months ago I decided to clean it up.

You're getting closer, that one is about 25,000# heavier than mine. :D

But no HR34 in it but I do check the site from it on occasion.

Three of my six have E-mail notification.

I have a routine... so no need for me to do that.

I have a routine... it's a little more active than yours, but I have it down to a science! :)

I mainly use Twitter for entertainment purposes (outside of a few individuals, it's musicians, actors, etc.), so I don't regularly check it... just occasionally.

I like things organized :)lol:)... I'm serious!

I've been logged-in via three IPs today (as usual for a work day), from home via Cox, on the mobile via Verizon, and from work via their network. I'd imagine though that lots of folks also do this.

    The...
...I don't need no stinkin email notifications or sucky subscriptions -- that's for newbies! I just hit [New Posts] 20-30 times a day. I'll read new posts in threads that are of interest to me, regardless (not irregardless). In case you were wondering, that's how I sometimes wind up [strike]slumming[/strike] er, skimming and occasionally posting in the D* forums. :p

(EDIT: I really do need to get a life!)

I guess I'm more an addict than I realized. Mrs HDTVFan reminded me last night that I have all of these located in arm's reach when online...

Items #1 & 2 pretty much are used daily...and the other 2 for "special occasions".

    I'm hooked (really bad). :D
