I receive my Local from Lexington,Ky. I just read in the paper that WLEX out of Lexington has added Digital Sub Channel to broadcast University of Ky. Classic Sport games. The article mentions it will be on Insight Cable and OTA but I was wondering how this new Channel works for Satellite customers. Since WLEX already has a deal with DirecTv will I get this sub channel as part of my Locals? I live 75 miles from Lexington so OTA is not possible.
Thanks

Over the past few weeks I have noticed the local HD channels having problems. While watching I will get the occasional brrriip which I know is a known issue but at times the picture will pixelate and at some points go to a completely black screen. I have tried rewinding when it happens on my HD DVR and it happens the same exact way at the same time so I'm sure it's not the receiver. I have also noticed it on my standalone HD receiver. I'm just wondering if this is an ongoing problem across the US with the HD locals or just something in my area. All of my signal levels are strong and I have checked the spot beam that these come in on and they are reading 100 at all times. Thanks all!

Attached is the weekly NFL Schedule customized for DIRECTV's SundayTicket and Superfan subscribers. Red highlight games are 1080i, Blue highlight games are 720p, no highlight (white background) games are 480i broadcasts.

Time Zone Schedules
Attachments are provided for each Time Zone; please note the attachment names to download the correct PDF for your time zone.

SundayTicket and Superfan Broadcasts
The two rightmost columns, the SundayTicket Section, provide the SundayTicket SD and Superfan HD assignments [Channels 704 through 718]. Channel numbers are the same for both the SD and HD broadcasts, but the HD channel has a “-1” (dash one) suffix. On your remote, the dash key is to the left of the 0 (zero) key.

Customize your Schedule
The PDF schedules are formatted with Adobe ‘forms’ enabled, so you can edit in your home LIL channel numbers before you print the schedule. Editing is done with Adobe Acrobat or the free Acrobat Reader release 8 or later.

Regional Game Broadcasts
Using TV Distribution Maps, you will find in advance which regional games your local CBS and FOX affiliates will be carrying and you can enter those channels on your customized schedule. This Link takes you to the website providing NFL TV Game Distribution Maps for CBS and FOX. The DMA Maps are available late in the week preceding the games.

Local Game Blackouts
NFL blackout rules apply: if a home game isn’t sold out, your local station and DIRECTV are both required to black out that live game in your home DMA. Also, when your local affiliate broadcasts a game, DIRECTV is obligated to black it out on SundayTicket and on Superfan (if your LIL affiliate offers HD) in your DMA.

Why is the TBS SD feed still fluttering since 2005? The new birds in the sky were supposed to take care of this problem eventually. It usually happens during the syndicated shows like "King Of Queens","Yes Dear" etc. I switched to the 16:9 ratio and that helps some, but the remnants are still there. Are you HD subscribers getting the same? It's the usual movement of someone/thing when it happens. I have 4 boxes and it does the same on all.
Thanks for any input.
