My 622 Got Weird Last Night

I started watching Wed's CSI:NY. The picture got all jerky and jumpy. The audio sounded fine even though it was out of sync, what with the herky jerky motion. I then switched to the CBS affiliate live. Same thing. I had watched that channel earlier and no problems either live or recorded. I then tried some older recordings from several channels. The problem occurred on CBS, TNT and a couple of others both live and recorded. No matter when the recording was made. Or whether the recording was on the internal HD or the EHD. Didn't matter. Another strangeness was if I brought up the guide, or any page with the little window, everything settled down. As I was about 10 minutes into FlashForward recording I wasn't about to do any kind of reset. Just take my chances. I turned the 622 off normally by the remote. After 4 or 5 minutes I tried again. Everything was okay again. I haven't turned it on this morning to see what awaits Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem? I don't recall reading about one like that. But then I don't remember what we had for dinner last night

Unfortunately there have been several reports of this behavior.
I have been getting this randomly since the last FW update.
Hopefully it will be resolved in the next update

Yes, it is a frequent problem on my 722. If I stop watching a recording and back all the way out, then come back and resume it seems to go away. It started doing this with a recent software release.

The last software update changed the gender of all 622 receivers. They are now female. That's why they're so 'moody' for no apparent reason.
