FOX audio drops
The last few weekends I have been having the audio drop outs quite often. Its only a split second and very annoying. It only occurs on the local HD not the OTA or standard channel. Anyone else getting this? I am in the Columbus Ohio market.

I've heard some audio drops on FOX during NFL games on Sunday... but they have been present on OTA and also have been present during replays shown on the NFL RedZone channel... and since others on AVSForum have reported audio drops on FOX, I've concluded it is a FOX problem and not anything Dish has been doing.

I get a lot of audio drops and video pixaling on many channels. Off air and on air. I have mentioned it many times here.

Baseball on FOX drives me up a wall because for years for whatever reason there's a regular "digital skip" in the background crowd noise. This isn't a dish thing, it's particular to FOX's baseball broadcasts. Of course I noticed it years ago and it's been there ever since, I must be one of the only people that ever hears it because apparently there's never been enough people to complain about them to ever fix it. I've tried to point it out to my wife and she never hears it, personally I don't know how anyone can not hear it, it happens so regularly i'd say something like every 30 seconds or a minute or something. If you've ever heard a CD skip it's like that but on the broadcast it only skips a couple times and like I said it's in the background noise of the crowd never the main audio of the broadcast. Anyway after all these years it just amazes me that FOX has never fixed this.

I've been experiencing stuttering gaps in the audio - only on Fox local channel (WTTG in Wash DC) programming. It happened so badly and often in the last episode of "Lie to Me" that I just deleted the DVR copy without watching it. There were almost none of these in the "Bones" episode last night. ?!?!

I've noticed the same thing. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen enough when Joe Bucket repeats himself several times during the game.
