I'm sure some of you in Reno already know this but my sister just confirmed that she has all of her locals in MPEG4 on the HR-20. NBC was just added yesterday to complete the big 4. (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX)
I can finally hook up my HR20 tonight but I will still keep my HR10 hooked up so we can finish watching the shows we have on there.
I noticed that the Reno locals were online, and I have also noticed that the sound and picture are perfect. I had heard so many complaints about the quality of locals (and the SD locals in Reno were awful!). This was a pleasant surprise
Reno locals were awful in SD??? Nooooooooooo. (sarcasm) I used to work at KRNV for a few years. Take a look in a week or two because the local news on KRNV will be in HD. They are putting the finishing touches on the new set and have purchased all of their HD cameras to go with their new HD/Digital switcher.
