The song used for the Fox Business News graphic leadout to commercial is by Angels & Airwaves (AVA). It's called "The Adventure." Someone at FBNHD has good taste in music.

The channel looks good...but its kind of odd...my HR20 is saying that it is in1080i not 720p. Allother FOX networks are in 720p (FOX-TV, various RSN's) is FOX adopting 1080i now and will we see FOX-TV go 1080i soon?

Does anyone know what business package you have to subscribe to in order to watch this at a small business? You think they would have added this channel to all business packages.

Slight Overscan

I am getting slight overscan on the right side and at the top. In both cases it is only a few missing lines. Is anyone else seeing this?

Pretty clever how they show the "HD Wing" ... that right column of stock info on the HD channel only, with the 4:3 stuff shifted left on the HD channel, but filling the screen (minus the HD wing) on the SD version fo the channel. The ticker graphics are super crisp.. my eyes (and my 720p set) aren't good enough to tell if the studio shots that are squeezed to the upper left 2/3 of the screen are native HD or ED upconverted to match the 1080i of the rest of the picture.

How is the channel itself? Is it decent?

It'd be nice if we could pick up the digital sub-channels. But that's a long story.

Other channels I would like to have:
CSPAN3, BBC World, BBC One and Two, more international news channels

I think it is HD, but I can't be absolutely sure, but the studio video and some of the remotes look pretty darn good... much betterthan the CNBCHD product where the live video is clearly SD. I'm guessing that Fox is starting with this product to refine its HD programming equipment and will shortly switch over to HD on Fox News.

I've been watching it most of the afternoon. While I'm not a fan of Fox News Channel, I have found their business coverage to be very interesting. Of course, one of their reporters is a former Cleveland news anchor and took the opportunity to say "Go Tribe" at the end of his report!

I am also a fan of Dave Ramsey and he has an evening show scheduled.

The 5:00 a.m. ET show anchors look like eye candy. They had a few glitches this morning, particularly with camera changes. So far, I'm enjoying it more than CNBC.

The channel seems alright. The anchor woman in the morning was a looker. I'll probably be watching it all day since CNBC HD is still funky. The HD shots look nice but I like the ticker graphics on CNBC HD better. It's funny, this one girl that's always on Fox News and sometimes was on CNBC seems to have switched from glasses to contacts now. Guess people change their appearance once they go HD.

The Fox Business Channel is not yet available on ANY business package as of right now with Directv. It IS coming for small businesses and if your package includes all the other news network channels such as cnbc, fox news, cnn etc, you will receive this new channel as well when they do decide to add it to business packages. When that is I don't know. Neither does Directv.

That's what is custom about it. You tell it what you want it to show. Glad it actually works this way on the HR20 receivers myself. I am so fed up with the crap channels that my DirecTivo's add every day when I delete them out.

Same here with both FBC and CNBC (or is it MSNBC... whichever). I have slight cutoff of the text on the right side. I typically have a slight cutoff of the ABC HD bug, if that helps you determine anything.
