What's the over/under before this thread degenerates into political rambling?

Interesting layout

It's HD definitely, but they have taken an interesting approach to the layout. It looks like they shifted the 4:3 live image to the far left and left the right side for headilnes and other news clips.

Directv has been very proactive in bringing this channel up. I know a lot of people would have liked to see it earlier and there are other channels that we are still waiting on them to provide but this does show that they are paying attention and continuing to move forward. Congratulations to Directv.

This increases the HD hours in my day! But... F&F was all HD in the studio and at the remote location in Florida. Megyn NOT! So I still have something to look forward to!

Friday launch?

No one yet seems to have commented on the Friday launch. Should we now assume that D* may potentially launch new HD channels for us any day of the week?

Not complaining, FoxNews HD looks great. Thanks D*!

Was it Fox News who just switched to HD, or DirecTv who just started carrying it in HD ?

Just in time, my PT-AE3000U is on pre-order !

Directv just started carrying it. It has been arund since May I think.

btw, I love it. Thanks Directv. If you never add another HD channel (which I know isn't going to be the case) I would be happy with what I have now!

Though I don't happen to watch this channel, I'm glad to see DirecTV offering it. This may be just the thing to push my in-laws over the edge and convince them to get an HDTV and move off cable to DirecTV. Plus, as HDTVFan0001 said, "All new HD is good HD."
