good news regarding other WV locals

Hey West Virginians:
If you live in the Clarksburg, WV DMA, good news Directv subscribers: locals are coming soon! I know, it's hard to believe, but I work at one of the local TV stations, and reps from Directv were at my station Wednesday, and apparently made the rounds at all of them the same day. They told us our market's locals would be up within 6 months, and in HD, to boot!

So, our market will go go from no channels at all on Directv, to all of them (minus the CW, of course, since its only broadcast in SD in our market at this time) in HD! I know this only affects a small number of readers on this site, but it's glorious news for all of us who do live in the area! Yay Directv!

And no, before I get any questions from Dish customers, our station has not received word from Dish when they may start adding HD stations from our market (they already offer the SD's).

If this is such good news for Directv subs that I should post this on another thread here on the forum, let me know.

Like I said, I don't claim to be a Directv insider or employee; I just know what I heard from my own two ears from the reps themselves who were at my station this week.
