Losing Favorites

About 2-3 times a week my favorites get all screwed up. It starts with turning on the receiver (H20) and it showing nothing on the screen and having to reboot the receiver. Once it comes back up, several of my favorites are missing and I have to redo my list. I have yet to call DTV but I was wondering if anyone else was seeing this issue and if there was a way to fix it.

Have you run any of the diagnostic tools? You might be having a problem with your hdd that can be fixed by running these tests.

I'm pretty sure the H20 doesn't have a HDD. Are there diagnostics for the non-DVRs?

Oh I missed it was a H20 not a HR20. I don't know if they have the same tools as a dvr or not. Sorry about that.

If you press the info button on the black screen, does the banner come up with channel 0-0?

If so I don't have an answer for that, but it happens to mine too sometimes. Kind of frustrating.

I'm moving this to the Standalone Receiver forum.

My father in law's H20 does the same exact thing. Every few weeks I have to go over there and redo his favorites list because it automatically removes channels. Any ideas anyone?
