Yes. Transponder ID. Spotbeams get the higher numbers on each bird.

This would be a spotbeam on Transponder 4, as expected.

Dish Network BS ... what would BS stand for .... Business Service / Satellite
Never quite sure about MCS2 ... it's a data feed IIRC, so it could have been Micro Computer Service 2

There are a lot of wierd named data channels.

BTW JohnH: Did the "Dish Network Saves Town" B-Roll on 121 ever get a channel number in the tables? I'm assuming that they just put up an independent DBS feed not tied to the network. Nice to have capacity to burn.

Wow. I didn't know E* had the capability to do analog.

Maybe E* could dedicate an analog feed to promoting Dish Network to anyone scanning the ku band?

6 out of 17. That's pretty bad! Though I was pretty sure this would be the case. Just the major channels.

See ya

Over the years, I have seen at least one analog feed where DISH Network provided the uplink for another company. I think it was the Business Services Group that did it.

Used to be a barker on C band. Haven't seen it in a while.

BTW: E*9 is getting somewhat loaded. Maybe 4 or 5 Tps left.

Well, considering there is no ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox affiliate on the island, I don't think so. It is also not considered a TV market by Nielsen. So my guess is no.

See ya

Tony, the other channels that are not uplinked for SJ are not great or have great reception or already get them (religious channels).

Well the dishnetwork web site now has Wichita Falls, and Dish is activating mine as I write this. The CSR was a bit confused since I already had SuperDish. ABC is missing.
