In a thread in the Technical Talk Forum, one dealer quoted $100 for a compression tool that installs Snap-N-Seal connectors. I have a number Sargent 8600esc tools that some homeowners and hobbist might be interested in. Carefully used, this tool will last for years. The stripper is completely professional and makes a perfect 1/4-1/4 prep on RG-6 or RG-59. The compressor is slower than the $100 plus tools, but makes an identical perfect assembly with Snap-N-Seal SNS6, SNS6Q, SNS59, and SNS59Q connectors. Great for the homeowner or a bacu-up for the professional. I have not tried this tool on Digicon "S", Gilberts or Stirlings. The tools are BRAND NEW!
