Hello, I have a question about connecting another dish antenna (international 65W) to my existing set up (Dish 500 with Dish pro plus)
My current set up is Dish 500 (100/119) with Dish Pro Plus, feeding PVR942 (via a separator).
I also have a Dish 300 antenna with Legacy LNB (not Connected).
I also have a Dish Pro (not plus) laying around from my old set-up.
Questions
1) Can I connect the Dish 300 Legacy LNB pointed at 65W to Dish Pro Plus ?
2) If #1 is no, can I connect the Dish pro to Dish 300 and run the cable from Dish Pro (65W) to Dish Pro Plus (110/119)?
I also have a Dish Pro (not plus) laying around from my old set-up.
You have a Dish Pro what? DP Twin? DP Dual? DP receiver?
Answers:
1) No. No mixing of DishPro and legacy LNBs and switches. See DishPro Technology on the EKB.
2) Yes. If it's a DP Twin, see the bottom of INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDING A DISH AT 61.5° for some tips though I'm not sure what difficulties you may encounter, if any, using it on a Dish 300.

"dual" is NOT the same as "Twin" - To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
