Seems like the alternates (218,219,221) don't list an HD counterpart at this time. Any gueses as to if they will when they are in use on Saturday? I believe there are 3 games on a noon eastern on Sat.

I would anticipate that the Alternate Channels will be in HD also. DirecTV has the capacity and Dish Network broadcasts all of the BTN games in HD so I would hope DirecTV would do so for competitive reasons. We should know more when the specific games are added to the program guide in the next day or two.

I think BTN wins the award thus far for best PQ. Anyone else agree?

Audio sync issue just now on this channel. I am sure these things will be worked out.

Any word on whether FSN will be airing Gopher games in HD? As much as I despise them, ANY college hockey in HD is ok in my book, and it'd be nice if they at least had the home games in HD. Supposedly BTN is airing the College Hockey Showcase, hopefully it's all in HD.

I wouldn't count on Minnesota Hockey being on Big Ten Network. Hockey is not part of the Big Ten. Minnesota hockey is WCHA, It will probably be on the RSNs like it always has been.

But most Big Ten schools have hockey teams, and there never was a Big Ten Network in the past....so just maybe.

Plus, since I live in Texas now - I don't think I'll be seeing much NCAA Hockey on FSN-SW
