Why is "Total Access" still in SD though? That's pretty lame... they better get with it!

That is what I was thinking. Does anyone when when it will be HD not 4:3 SD?

Yeah, I was really disappointed. It looks like everything on NFLHD is in 4:3 right now. I went through the guide and even the NFLReplay game is not listed as HD.

I watched the Cincy/Seattle game on the NFL Replay last night on the test channel and it was full screen HD. It must be the studio shows are not full screen yet.

The guide data may not be 100% accurate. I would check back at 1pm.

I thought Total Access was done in HD from day one. I'm surprised the League hasn't gotten on the stick yet. At least they haven't gone down the stretch-o-vision path. Thankfully.

There's no excuse for a studio news show not to be in HD. Even the startup BTN is HD for it's studio show! Doesn't the NFL have a bit more money than then Big Ten???

Periodically, they would show the NFL Network studio show on channel 98 (HD Alt) and it was in full screen HD. I have confidence it will appear that way on the new channel.

Don't know what you saw -- and not doubting you -- but I've seen a lot of NFL-HD on FIOS and have never seen their studio shows in HD. The live and replayed games, yes.

Was it a game that was shown in HD this weekend?

I'm watching the replay of the Chargers and Packers and it looks like it's being shown in HD, but the picture quality looks pretty bad compared to when I watched the game on Sunday. Anybody else notice?

Just turned it on. I didn't see much of the game on Sunday, but you're right, this isn't a very high quality HD picture compared to a typical CBS OTA game. Until we see more games, though, I have no reason for blaming DirecTV for this.

Thursday and late season Saturday games pre-game shows. Also the superbowl pregame show on the network were in HD.

Ah, yes, OK. That is correct.

Didn't know about the Super Bowl pre-game, but the others are (in my mind) part of the "game" coverage that I know is in HD...not the studio stuff like "all access" that some people expected to see in HD, but is not (yet).

Well, they suddenly have a lot more eyeballs now, and should be more motivated to upgrade.

And with pretty much everyone agreeing that the Big Ten Network studio stuff looks awesome....the NFL can't get shown up by them, can they?

So far, yes

BTW, the Cincy-Seattle game replay on now looks much better than the previous one.

I got it now in regular HD format on 212 but the one on 9300 looks sharper to me. Is it just me?
