Not worth watching stretched so that is the last time I will watch it. TBS and TNT can't think that looks good. Just imagine the poor people that turn this crap on not having any other experience with good HD programming. They will totally feel ripped off thinking that is as good as it gets.

Yeah, I picked up on that last week. What's funny is I think only the stage portion of the show is like that - I haven't noticed it on any of the skits. But, anyone can easily tell it's not a true HD picture, everything is so smooth and there is no detail to anything.

Still, I won't stop watching it because of that. The show is good and I hope it stays around for awhile. That HD stuff will sort itself out.

Come on, you think that TBS/TNT are the only HD channels or something? Give "regular" people some credit here. Nobody has JUST TBS/TNT as their HD programming. But, the fact is, if people like the show they will tolerate it. I don't understand why the big deal...HD or not HD doesn't make the show if it's good.

"Hmmm, that basketball game last night wasn't in HD, that's the last time I watch basketball ever."

But that is precisely what I do, I refuse to watch a sports event that isn't in HD now. And I won't watch Frank TV anymore either because the stretched crap makes me sick to my stomach.

What is even worse, TBS brags that the show is "in HD, where available" which is complete bull. The show is not shot with HD cameras so should never be labeled as HD.

What is additionally weird about FrankTV... before the show started, I remember seeing Caliendo on a talk show promoting it, and he said TBS had asked him to come back and re-shoot some segments in HD so they could air the show in HD when it started.

So, if they actually shot it in HD and still are stretching it, then I am really confused.

I'd call this show the biggest disappointment of the season. Not only the issue with the stretched sides and occasional lip sync problems, the show simply isn't funny. I've given it three tries and haven't had a good laugh yet. He's great doing 5 minute stand-ups on Letterman, but this show is simply horrible. Sorry Frank, but this Series Link is gone.

Yeah, I gave up after the second episode. It's only supposed to have 5 episodes filmed and I can't see it going past that.

Yeah those sketch comedy things don't have much of a shelf life. However, his Al Pacino is pretty awesome. But that just doesn't translate into funny really.

Perhaps they should change their slogan to TBS...not very funny.
