Change in HD channels

We were all newbs once.

Anything that doesn't have a standard definition counterpart is now part of the "HD Extra Pack"

ESPN-HD, Discovery HD, TNT-HD, and others all have a SD counterpart, so those are covered under the HD Access fee.

Since there has never been a SDNet, or SDNet Movies or Universal SD, these fall into the Extra category.

Hopefully some more of these channels are coming to make the cost more palatable.

I still fail to see why Discovery HD is not part of the HD Extra pack and MHD is. Discovery HD does not have a direct SD counterpart. Doesn't it feed off of the other Discovery channels. If that is the case then dosen't MHD feed off of the MTV and VH1 channels. I don't get it. :confused:
