I was able to watch the Dolphins game in HD on DirecTV. Even though it was not carried by SuperFan.

I have CBS from NY in HD through DNS and they showed the game in HD.

Now, if the game was available on Channel 80 (Mpeg2) why couldn't D* just create a Virtual channel in the ST-SF package and mirror this feed?

If I was able to watch it in HD on DirecTV shouldn't all ST-SF subscribers have had this option?

No way, the Dolphins suck and with an 0-whatever record they are lucky to be on TV at all.

Just joking. :)

That is a good question. I hope someone has an answer.

Because DIRECTV is not allowed to redistribute the signal from NY to most folks .. While it may seem silly, the Copyright Laws provide protection for many things and occasionally weird stuff like this will happen ..
