Record Light stays on all the time

Woke up this morning and noticed the REC light was ON. No recording was in progress. Performed a receiver re-start, after reboot REC light was off. Did a test recording, DVR recorded as planned, but after the recording the REC remains ON.

Anyone seen this before? Remedy? Is this the beginning of the end?

Are you hooked up to a network, and possibly downloading On Demand content?

If the light does not turn off after stopping a recording, I would try unplugging the DVR and letting it sit for 15-20 minutes, and see if restarting after that might help.
