I'm happy to see Lana leave. She had run her course.

Lex is a big loss IMO though. He brought real talent to the show.

I agree, I know they said "no flights, no tights" when they started the show but how old is he now??? I mean, does he wait until he's 30 to learn to fly or what?

If you recall the episode Heat (comely substitute teacher in skimpy dress showing biology/mating film on the day the AC is broken leads to eruption of heat vision), I think you'll agree the stimulus for flight is gonna have a hard time passing the censors.

Not that we can't ask.

That's hillarious, I do remember that episode as being one of the better ones!

He didn't fly when he stopped that rocket. He jumped.

If he flew, why did he crash to the ground afterward?

The only time he actually flew in the series was when he was his alter-ego-split-personality during a season opener after "Jor-El" had sent him to find the secret crystals.

Once Ma Kent fixed him with the black kryptonite, no more flying for Clark.

Technically, he also floated in an early 1st season episode while asleep and woke up hovering above his bed.

Everything else was just a high jump.

correct he did jump but when he returned to earth he told his dad that he felt as he was flying. and as with all his powers he never mastered the art of flying so why wouldn't he crashed? as far as i can tell from when his cousin was trying to teach him to fly, he can already fly just the only thing holding him back is his fear of flight.
way back at the begiining Clark was also very afraid of doing very far long jumps across high rise buildings to.

he did?

the only time I remember him saying that to his dad was he described what it was like in the twister (how he willed himself toward the truck...etc).
