I am looking to get a Wii Fit. Unfortunately, it looks like it going to be yet another Nintendo shortage item.

If anyone finds them in stock somewhere (besides E-Bay, I'm not paying over the retail price) please post here.

Thanks.

Bookmark this page to keep tabs on most of the major online retailer's stock of Wii Fit.

So far, it looks out of stock everywhere.

I'll keep an eye out Chris.

Unfortunately, I don't really have my "connection" anymore, or I could have secured one for you relatively quickly. I kinda try to steer clear of him since his drinking's gone out of control, and his newfound nose-candy habit. :nono2:

We pre-ordered from Amazon a month or so ago (at $90) and received it on 5/21. The jury's still out on it in our household. Not as much of a "slam dunk" as I thought it would be. :)

Here are a couple of articles in the NYTimes about the pros and cons of using it:

The Target in Rocklin (Sacramento) where we're visiting this weekend had an ad for the Wii Fit, butit didn't appear they had any left in stock.

They did, however, have 3 wii's in stock. None of our stores around home have ever had the Wii in stock, still to this day!

Hi Chris,Best Buy has been selling the game with a Balance Board for $89.99.

Currently sold out,but seems like a good price point when they do have them in stock.

I preordered from Amazon, of course they're out of stock. Walmart.com is out of stock also but you can enter yout zip code and find out which local stores are suppose to have them in stock. The are a few listed in the San Antonio area. The store price may not match the walmart.com price, and they will not match the online price.

Great interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the "father" of the Wii (and Donkey Kong, Mario and Zelda) in today's paper.

Apparently Wii "Music" is next. /steve

The Target sales ad in our local Sunday paper today is advertising the Wii Fit with the Balance Board for $89.99.
I looked on the Target site for this, but all they have listed currently is a "bundle pack" with the console and some games for $399.99.

I walked by the GameStop in Brookfield Square (Brookfield, WI) Thursday 5/22 and they had a large display of Wii Fits by the front door. I'm guessing at least 5-10, but as I don't have a Wii I didn't pay too much attention.

Well, this post that did it for me.

I checked WalMart, Gamestop and Best Buy. No luck. I was passing a Super Target on the way to see a movie and they had about 10 of them. I picked up 2. One for me and one for a friend here in town. The lady there said they got them in earlier that morning. She said they will be gone before noon. Guess I was lucky.

Thanks for the help.

I've been playing around with it a bit. Not bad. Kind of a fun toy. Just like anything else, you get back what you put into it. It definitely gets my heart pumping. :)

Can you have two at one time connected to one system (for instance, if I and my husband wanted to do any of the exercises together)?

The only 2-player Wii Fit activity I've seen is jogging, which does not use the balance board, just the remote. /steve

No due to the limitations of bluetooth. Thats what Nintendo support says
