I would expect XBOX to fire back with an upgrade with will allow an XBOX to play Windows Media 9 files (Then you can watch Terminator 2 in HD when it comes out in June) (There will be a WM9 HD version of T2 on the second Disk!)

Doesn't make that much of a difference to me since I don't have a progressive scan TV, I use DVD-R mostly for burning DVD's and I already have a real DVD player.

Makes a difference for me, I already have a progressive scan DVD player, now it appears I will need a DVD player which can play Windows Media 9 files this way I can watch movies like T2 in FULL HD (Without the need of a blue laser DVD player!)
