My neighbor called and asked me aobut hooking up his 722 to a DVD burner. His question is - are both the HDMI and the componet output "hot" at the same time? Can he hook the 722 to the TV via the HDMI and to the burner via componet or doese he have to go from the 722 to the burner then from there to the TV?

Both (all) outputs are hot.
