Call sign: WMUM-DT
Location: Cochran/Macon, GA
Channel: 29.2
Issue: Channel missing from HR-23 guide

When I run a scan with my AM21, it picks up 29.1 and 29.3 but there's nothing in the guide for 29.2. E-mailed zap2it.com to see if that would help.

Looks like the problem has been fixed. 29.2 now shows up in my guide.

Finally WEPX DT 38.1 has been added to the guide. The station was launched in digital in January.

However Directv did not add the 3 sub channels to the guide.

WEPX-DT2 38.2 QUBO
WEPX-DT3 38.3 ION LIFE
WEPX-DT4 38.4 WORSHIP

I had to rescan in the Lubbock, TX market for OTA for KCBD-DT
11-1. I rescanned all of my receivers and it works great on my R22s but I does not work on my HR20-100.

I do receive great signal strength at 100% but when I turn to 11-1 I get the "searching for signal" reference.

Call Sign: WLS
Location: Chicago
Channel: 7-1, 7-2, 7-3
Issue: I was getting 7-1, 7-2, 7-3 when I got home from work even though they changed broadcast freq. I decided to check the signal strength and it showed 0 on 7-1, etc.

At this point I decided to search for local channels again on the antenna. Bad idea. I lost 7-1, but 7-2 and 7-3 still work.

7-1 shows in the guide, but I get a 771 error. I went into signal strength and it shows 7-1 getting 100% signal. I don't get it.

This is a HR20.

as a side note I still don't get 26-1. I had this problem with this for months.

Call Sign: KCWI (CW)/KDMI (MyTV) (Information Updated)
Location: Des Moines, IA
Channels: 23-1 (KCWI) and 19-1 (KDMI). Both broadcasting on RF channel 23.
Issue: 19-1 is not listed as an available channel. 23-1 (KCWI) is listed as an available channel on the HR20, but tuning to 23-1 brings up KDMI. KDMI moved from channel 56-1 to channel 19-1 after the transition. 56-1 and 56-2 are showing as available on the HR20, but nothing is airing on these channels.

Call Sign: KFPX (ION)
Location: Des Moines, IA
Channels: 39-2, 39-3, 39-4 (Broadcasting on RF channel 39)
Issue: Subchannels added but not available on the HR20.

I did the same thing (rescaned) and I did get 7-1 working, but I'm having the same problem as you. 26-1 is missing, but if you go to 48-1 you will receive the programming of 26-1. Something must be wrong with the data DirecTV is sending down.

I live in buffalo NY zip code 14227. Recently (june 12 2009) WGRZ (nbc) broadcasting on digital channel 34 (2-1) started a new channel. The channel is 2-3 and is the RTV network formally RTN. I do not get this channel from my directv HR20 ota reciever. IT does not download the 2-3 channel into my ota guide. Who do i contact to get directv to update their ota downloading database? thanks

Same problem on my HR20-700. I did an RBR and 7-1 is now working. 26-1 WCIUDT is missing. 26 is availabe from the Sat in SD.
48-1 is labeled WCIUDT and has guide data that matches 26. However, actual shows on that channel tonight were not the same as 26. I think it was MeTV or MeToo.

38.3 was left out, Ive emailed the contact at Tribune that I got to add the other 3 and hopefully this missing channel will soon be added.

how long does it usually take for a new OTA channel to show up on a Directv receiver? We just had the CW HD OTA feed go live in Baton Rouge on Saturday night.

OKAY, I just got off the phone with DirecTV about these local channel changes, and boy am I frustrated...

I called Boone Electric Satellite and was directed to call DirecTV. After talking with a CSR, a Technical Support Person and supervisor, we are no closer to getting 22.1 OTA on the HR20 receiver. All the supervisor would say is that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to receive all of the OTA signals. Even though I can get it on my H20 and on the TV tuner on the TV that is connect to the HR20.

Surely there has to be someone at DirecTV that understands how this stuff works!!!!!

DMA: Columbia/Jefferson City Missouri.

KQFX FOX-38, Analog Channel 38 has switched to Digital Channel 22.1
ABC17 Stormtrack 24/7 Channel 17.4 has moved to Channel 17.2
Channel 17.4 is no more.

I guess you could also say that Channel 17.2 has moved to 22.1

Channel 22.1 went on the air on June 13th and the 17.2/17.4 switched happened sometime earlier this week.

I know you won't get the right guide but add another city with those channels available and you will get access to record/view through your HR20 ... I am sure someone on these boards could give you a zip or city that would suit your needs ...

This really sucks for those of us with an HR21....FOX is still showing as 38 and is an SD feed off the DTV birds......why is it such a chore to replace that channel with the HD version that is now channel 22.1? The space for the channel is already there, it will just take getting the HD feed linked to DTV rather than the SD version......

I've been waiting 3 weeks for it to appear, but it looks like somebody dropped the ball.
