Didn't you also have some hardware changed/swapped/replaced?

Had the H20 (has issues with swm) to H21. Still had 771 errors. We moved the PI to in front of the H21. That fixed it.It has been rock solid since we moved it. I had alot of 771 coming and going untill then. I even replaced the wire twice.

I am using skywalkers also. For what its worth. My H21 had problems remember? I moved the PI on front of the H21 and it works perfectly now.

"On front" or "in front" of your H21? Because I had it as ODU->pi->splitter->H21 With all the problems. I am going to try the set up ODU->PI->H21 for a few hours to see if the splitter was the problem there also.

How exactly do you have it set

Also will I have better luck with 4-way or 8-way, I was thinking of going the 8-way just to future proof myself but thinking I may have better 'luck' with the 4-way. I also just thought of buying both to, I don't know what to do.:lol:
SlimLine 5LNB SWM 16
HR34-700 -->52" Sharp Aquos LED
H25-100 -->32" Philips Master BD
HR21-100 -->19" Vizio LED Kitchen,
HR24-500 --> 50" Panasonic DLP
Hockey is not a sport in Minnesota, it is life.

I have it SWM > Splitter (4-way) >PI >H21-100. It has worked since then. VOS said it has to do with a DC block I think. He would be better equpped to answer about that. I run a 4 way, but have a 2way also. Football season may bring another IRD so I can split my living room signal and have instant PIP.

If you have unused outputs on any splitters, or an unused PI/IRD output, are they terminated?

They should be.
5 LNB Slimline & SWM-16
SWM1 2 HR20s & HR21 via SWS-4 "green label" 4-way splitter w/power pass one leg for PI - SWM2 2 HR20s & HR21 after SWS-4 "green label" 4-way splitter
2 HR20-700 Wireless network for DoD
HR20-700 eSATA Vantec NexStar CX w/ 2TB WD20EVDS
HR21-100/AM21 Wireless network for DoD
HR21-100/AM21
With diplexed OTA via an "out" on one SWS-4 4-way splitter, using a Winegard YA 1713 - Channel Master 4228 - Channel Master 7777 in the attic.
Yes, my market has HD LiLs...and I'm still not giving up OTA! No rain-fade, and all sub-channels 24/7/365.
Also, with diplexed Cox Internet on one leg, downstream of a SWS-4 4-way splitter, using a SWS-2 2-way splitter, as a combiner.
R10 via SWM-16 Legacy 1
In boxes HR10-250, HDVR2 & (2) D10-300
