According to this, D* does carry it in HD. However, I don't have a lot of confidence that the channel itself will carry the tennis in HD.

Any word on expansion of Significantly viewed Channels "SVCs"?

They seem to be lagging way begin cable in our market given that a large # of people receive either Phila. or B-more stations in addition to our DMA on Cable. FCC allows it, and B-more is on our same spot beam... What's the hold up?

It appears that 15 and 21 are now in 5.1. Hopefully the video quality is better too but I didn't watch enough. Maybe the syndicated shows will now be in hd. They upgraded something so hopefully.

Is anyone watching the ryder cup with surround sound. The sound only comes out the back speakers. Some commercials are ok. Others only come out the back. So I think it's channel 8's fault but not sure

Has anyone noticed how WITF (33) has been breaking up lately on their D* feed? I've watched a few shows recently and each breaks up periodically. Sometimes the audio drops out and other times the video freezes or pixelates badly. I flip over to the other local D* supplied LILs (WGAL, WPMT, WHP, WHMT) and they are clean and clear. Seems to be related to WITF only. While trying to watch "The This Old House Hour" this morning it was bad on the D* feed so I flipped over to the OTA feed and it was pretty clean..although I can't get WITF 33.1 more than 50% OTA in Lancaster County.

How sure how to get this ongoing problem reported back to D* or WITF...if I call a D* CSR, they'll tell me to reboot my machines.

Thanks, I'll try that but I can't get my SD channels to unhide so I'll try a reboot.

That's good for those of you have SD locals. I our market there is only the HD feed, since they retired the satellite that carried our SD channels. They wsapped out everyones MPEG2 receivers for MPEG4 capable receivers.

The Spot beams on 103S suddenly lost signal strength, 103ca and 103cb are fine.

For the past month (off and on), the D* feed of WITF (HD) has been very bad at times. Lots of video and audio cutouts, pixelation, jumpy video, etc. The other local (Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA) HD lils that D* carries are perfectly fine with no issues and the WITF OTA feed is clean, too. I am watching right now and only the D* HD feed has these problems.  When I see the WITF issues (from the D* feed), I switch over to the antenna as well as the other HD LILs (WGAL, WHP, WPMT, WHTM, etc.) are each are these are OK.. and flip back to WITF, and the the same issues.

How do we report this ongoing WITF issue to D*?? This same problem existed a few years ago but was fixed. The issues exist during the day and night. Now it's back and it makes watching WITF annoying. Thank you.

Update - the WITF D* feed on Sat. looked good again (no breakups, pixelation, etc.) compared to what's become a common thing the past month or so.  I'll keep monitoring and repost if necessary.

Pixelation has still been an occasional issue with WITF the past few weeks...  anyone know if D* is looking into this problem?
