that red dot is smack in the middle of brooks county. 20 minutes from valdosta. its about an hour to waycross, which is where my brother lives. i've got family in glynnco too, which sounds like your area.

lanier is NE of valdosta, straight up 122 out of wayx.

Can't you get HD out of Tallahassee?

Looks like its less than 30 miles but over two edges (antenna at 25 ft but line of sight is around 50 ft).

Signals in the -75 dBm range should be receivable with deep fringe antenna and pre-amp.

Put the antenna up 50 ft or so and RX(dBm) drops to around -50 - definitely doable.

Determine your exact lat and lon coordinates and enter them into TVFool.com.

I used 30.825361 and -83.561064.
Tuners: Hopper 2000; Hopper w/Sling; 3 Joeys; Samsung SIR-T351; Accurian 6000;2 X HD TiVo; 2 X TiVo Series 2 Stand alone; Panasonic Showstopper 2000
Dish 1000.2 @ 110, 119, 129; dish 500 @ 61.5
Antennas - CM4228; RS U75-R; coathanger; Funke PSP.1922 (stillin the box); paperclip
Displays: Sony VPH D50Q with HD Fury HDMI input; Hitachi 57F59; Sony Bravia LCD;Sanyo 32" LCD; Panasonic 42" plasma

Give me a Finco colinear array and I'll rule the world - HA-HA-HA-HA!

Yes; I get my HD out of tallahassee and albany OTA. Someone mentioned I may not get HD if I were on the eastern arc. My point was dish doesn't offer HD for my DMA so it wouldn't matter. I have the HDView360 made by antennacraft with an internal rotator. Its a great antenna.
