That Paul Silas has been hired by Cleveland. This is a good hiring- I feel like the Cavs stole a good coach from the Hornets. How could they fire a guy that got them to the playoffs 4 straight years, especially with the injury problems they had this year.

Cavs have a press conference scheduled for 4:30 today.

Ahhh, I was hoping the sixers would hire Silas, oh well.

The real question is what coach is Charlotte (oh New Orleans) going to get. A ton of jobs are open, and the pickings are somewhat slim.

If you think the firing of Paul Silas was bad, what about what Detroit did to Rick Carlisle? Coach of the year, two 50 win seasons, Eastern conference appearance. WTF?

Silas seems to be a "soft" coach, this makes me wonder how well he can handle Clevelands youth.
