Yes, thank you DirecTV!

I watch Tom Skilling's weather to see the trending maps. I find that to be quite accurate for our weather down here. In HD, wow! And the sound level is normal. Don't have to adjust the volume downward every time we switch to 307.

As a native Chicagoan, I guess it's okay; but other than the sports and news, it's all filler...and virtually nothing else in HD

Yep, huge amount of difference in watching the game compared to what the picture quality was before.

It's weird that the wgn sd feed was used in the EI channels, but not the hd feed.

I guess if they are going to lose either way, better to do it in HD.

Is that because it was done on film?

I just turned on WGN-HD to watch a bit of the game before the Cardinals game starts at 9, and it is a static picture with the radio broadcast

I am not impressed.;)

Actually, I know that there are power issues and just had to get the dig in.

Before the still frame, the game and picture looked GREAT!!

But, right now the audio sucks.

A lot of static noise going on, during the game. The audio is fine for the commercials.

OFF to the Cardinal's game.
