Have an annoying oddity to report. I live the in the Atlanta, GA area. Suddenly about 2 weeks ago my windows media center pc (which is hooked up a directv receiver) tried to record all fox network shows on channel 6. Except I don't have channel 6. In atlanta we have channel 5 (Fox5), Fox6 is Birmingham.
I checked my directv online guide as well and noticed the same issue.
All my receivers are fine-its just the online guide-and media centers guide. I also called directv support and they confirmed the issue.
No eta on the fix-but they did confirm they will have to fix their website and they said media center uses the same feed and both should be fixed at once.

Have you accurately entered your Zip Code when you did your Guide Process?

I had mine default here in Atlanta to the Birmingham, Alabama Zip Code and I had to change it to my Peachtree City Zip Code to get it to work properly.

I do not have a problem now with recording Fox on Channel 5 so I just think that your DVR thinks it is in the Birmingham area because of the Zip Code entered in the Setup Process. I would check your Zip Code if you haven't done that already.
