CSN New England will launch in HD tomorrow morning at 6:00am Eastern Standard Time.

It will go from a games only HD channel to 24/7 HD. Celtics fans, led by Marquette graduate Doc Rivers, should be very excited!

That is the only channel going to HD this week that I'm aware of.

Cool.

Hopefully it will be like last week and they launch something that you are not aware of as well. Looking at P Smith's data, I doubt it.

Are you actually saying stuff actually happens at DirecTV without your knowledge? This rocks me to my core. I've always assumed that nothing happens there without your expressed approval. Another illusion dashed. Dang it!

Is this a criticism of satracer or others on this forum?

I think he's just being funny. No harm, no foul. And to his point, for all I know tomorrow there could be a launch of 4D programming in "feel o vision"....you never know. ;)

I'm just here to help answer a few questions and help set a few expectations. Help where I can.

Have a good one.

The intent was comical. If there's any criticism to be read into it, it can be aimed at me as much as anyone. (I was recently accused in another thread of over analyzing anything Satracer writes.)

Satracer is the best source of information on programming changes we have on this forum. The only others who come close is P Smith and Sixto who can often report on things that Satracer can't "officially" say yet.

That's good news, but if the stupid NBA keeps blacking out the darn away feeds then I'll just be even more pissed since I'll be stuck with crappy SD.

SatRacer: will the NBA agree to one feed with the caveat being the home feed is selected UNLESS the home team is in SD and away feed is in HD? In that case, the away HD feed is shown? I would be fine with that...

Thanks Satelliteracer. You mentioned this many weeks ago, and once again you are on the money!

One thing, and I know the channel has only been up for just over an hour now, but I'm getting "To be Announced" for the guide data on it. It's probably not even worth mentioning as I'm sure it will be fine by the time I get home from work, but oh well, I mentioned it.

Thanks again.

I thought this was suppose to be a "mini-festivus"? Adding one channel full-time, thats a region channel, is hardly worth noting.
