Well, I've already pulled the trigger on that buy, so its on its way. The ad did say it will get HD. Its ok if it doesn't but would have been nice to get the HD signals for somewhere down the road.

Oh well.

you would need a slimline 5 for that or a mobile system made by Winegard or Motosat (those two automatically track for you, so no aiming needed)
I am no longer connected with Directv or any other satellite provider

phase II is not sold anymore. only phase III

The are still available. In hindsight, I should have said "or better" as opposed to "or equivalent".

In the grand scheme, the Phase III has been pretty much phased out.
