Greetings everyone,

I have noticed a significant decrease in picture quality with my local HD channels here in Indianapolis over the past few weeks. The same channels when viewed OTA look decent, but when viewed via DirecTV, it's terrible at times, especially during anything programming with with quick action, such as sports. Sunday Night Football looks as though I am watching a low-res Quicktime. These channels used to look quite good and I am curious to know why the decrease in quality all of a sudden? Is it that too many HD channels are being launched, thus spreading the bandwidth too thin? Has anyone else in the Indianapolis area noticing what I have noticed?

Thanks!

Rick

For what it's worth, a couple of the Chicago channels (CBS2 and FOX32) have had problems the last few weeks as well. Lots of break ups and a weird flashing effect. Good luck getting them fixed. I have gone back to OTA reception.
