I was browsing on demand pay movies and noticed some movies you was able to view right away. We actually ordered 88 minutes in HD. Great movie btw. Instead of dl. Other movies you still need to dl. Is DTV moving to instant view now? If so. That is really good!

If you have a HRxx series DVR they are probably already on your hard drive. There will be a green (?) check mark next to the movie if it is currently in your "movies Now" play list.

DirecTV reserves about 100GB of space on your drive, and uses that space for a number of things, including downloading a few selected movies via sat broadcast at night. Things not set up to "pre-download' automatically have to be downloaded via Internet connection, as always.
