What is the deal with CW? I Have a HR-20 and the OTA 23-1 will not come in but 34-1 & 56-1 do, these channels are all on the same frequency. there are two 23-1 channels available in the guide and both say searching for signal when I know the signal is good because 56-1 is at 80% signal strength and the same antenna feed picks it up on my TV. I have called D* but they just don't understand the issue and say its the OTA channel that has the issue is there anything that can be done?
It is a problem with 23-1 showing up twice. There is only one solution I have found, and that is to reset the antenna setup, then re-run the antenna setup. (You have to reset it...you can't just re-run the setup.) Once you've gone through that, make sure you use the entry for 23-1 that says "KDMIDT2" - not the one that says "KCWIDT."
Even more bad news...you have to do this whenever your HR20 gets rebooted.

...I still will never understand why DTV removed the OTA jack on all of the new receivers!
To reduce the cost of producing the box. The majority of users don't use OTA.
If you need OTA, then add the AM21 OTA tuner to your system.
