Schedule of when this station will be off the air is listed on the above site and according to the site this will affect both Dish Network and Directv customers.
Primestar Subscriber 97 to 99, Directv Subscriber since 1999, XM Subscriber since 12/18/2004.

NBC 17 outage times (also WRAL-DT, WRAZ-DT, WLFL-DT and WRDC-DT)
there maybe some impact to analogs as well

Schedule Of Outage Times
Wednesday 12/17 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday 12/18 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday 12/19 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday 12/20 1 to 3 p.m.
Sunday 12/21 1 to 3 p.m.

Monday 12/22 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday 12/23 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday 12/24 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday 12/25 No Scheduled Shut Down
Friday 12/26 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. if required

Thanks for the heads-up... I'm going to put a link to this thread in the OTA forum under the Raleigh DMA discussion.

If Mods come around they can either combine this with that thread OR just leave it alone since I'll have a link there for people who come here first.

I'll be glad when all the tower work has been completed because they have been interfering already with OTA reception in some cases. No surprise that it will finally impact satellite now too.
