Over at hdtv.forsandiego.com, there is a discussion regarding the prescence of "blue sparkles" on the local CBS affiliate, KFMB. The thread over there is:

A poster there put up this video of it on youtube:

That's a mild case of it. It really shows up on an HD broadcast, especially in dark scenes.

Anyone else here in the San Diego area see this as well? Is it happening in other places?

I watch their news all the time and on my 50PX80U plasma and my Samsung DLP. No presence of blue sparklies at all. Sure is strange...

I have two H20's (100 Series)

I am on Dish, and haven't noticed anything all week. Today, with the games on, I haven't noticed a thing. And hello fellow Carlsbad Poster

I'm noticing it here too, shows up on my JVC TV and my Olevia LCD.

Clever. Did you think that one up by yourself, or did you seek help?
