The 'Universal RF Remote', listed at $25, is described as being backlit.

Perhaps they dropped the RC64R from their lineup and are just carrying the RC64RB ?

2 backlit remotes show up on that page.
The "limited edition" NFL remotes are backlit too.

The RC32RF is NOT even made anymore - it was replaced with the RC64RB, which is ALSO backlit. I have them myself, & I keep several on hand to sell to clients... ;) ;)

Correct, you cannot get an RF remote non-backlit on directv's website right now.

rc 32 RF is the only one with a backlite

The RC64RB and NFL remotes are also backlit ;)

Bah. you'd think the "flagship" receiver would come with their best remote. But alas, all I get is the RC64R.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great remote, but aside from the backlighting, it'd be better if the DVR controls and 4-way pad were swapped, like the TiVo remote.

Curt:

Completely off topic, but I put your location into Google Maps and it pulls up a street view of a house in Ogden Utah... and the cops are parked out front.

...something you're not telling us? lol

Since it costs 2.4¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 4.8¢ worth.  That 4.8¢ is my own and not the 4.8¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.
