The San Diego Chargers' overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday drew an 18.3 overnight rating, meaning 18.3% of households in 56 urban TV markets. That's up 10% from the Jacksonville Jaguars-Pittsburgh Steelers game in the time slot last year — and the highest NFL wild-card game rating since 1999.

•Fox's Cincinnati-Virginia Tech Orange Bowl Thursday drew a preliminary national rating of 5.7% of U.S. households — down 22% from last year's Louisville-Wake Forest game — and its Utah-Alabama Sugar Bowl Friday drew 7.9% — up 12% from Hawaii-Georgia last year.

•ABC's Penn State-Southern California Rose Bowl drew a preliminary national rating of 11.7% — up 5% from Illinois-USC last year.
