UNCTV PBS HD not added, but they add a standard def MPEG 4 feed of WNCT-DT2 The CW which they already carried in MPEG2 in the SD local package.

The CW WNCT-DT2 is a sub channel of the CBS station here in this market.

I Need to ask about the Dish for the 72.5,that was used for all the mpeg 2 locals.
My dish setup was run with this Dish in consideration,Now its no longer needed Now What? I`m guessing its no longer needed?
Must I also rerun the Dish setup? as it has an extra dish(72.5) included in Setup,if its needed.
Might this be a call to Directv?

Apparently DIRECTV added WCTI ABC HD by mistake, they have now changed the feed to a 480i SD feed. Ken over at 12 said they do not yet have a agreement with Directv.
I wonder if they are trying to get Directv to add ENC-TV there subchannel which was at one time on Directv when it was UPN 48.

Hi,

I'm not receiving WCTI-12, ABC and I called Direct TV and they advised they only had 3 channels in HD in our market. Is anyone else having this problem?

Check the scroll running across TV12 OTA, Seems DISH isn't the only one having problems negotiating contracts. I hope this doesn't affect FOX14 which is also owned by the WCTI group.

WCTI is now rolling a scroll that they have now come to terms with Directv.
However Directv has still yet to change to feed back to HD.

any updates on the WCTI HD feed? It is still SD. A week after they allegedly 'came to terms'.

It sucks that they couldn't get everything worked out before the LOST premier tonight. Hopefully WCTI is on the horn with Directv everyday and not taking a 'they will get to it when they get to it' attitude.

Has anyone noticed the Fox-14 broadcast. The video seems choppy. I don't know how to describe it any differently. It almost looks like the frame rate isn't being broadcasted at 30 FPS. Very, very disturbing. I can't stand to watch anything with it like this.

Problems like this are common with this local fox station.

Yes, I've noticed the same choppiness on more than one occasion.

Me too. Post about it here, if you haven't already: http://www.avsforum....ad.php?t=393419

An engineer with WCTI and WYDO/WFXI posts there regularly. He was able to get an issue with WFXI and Dish resolved recently.

That's 4 people that have mentioned issues with these locals on D*. I doubt we all have dishes that are out of alignment.
