I see where the MMA event Affliction airing Saturday, Jan. 24th costs $10 more if you want it in HD. Is this new for DTV to charge more for the HD version of a PPV event?

WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!...They're nickle-and-diming us.:nono2:

All HD is considered a premium, this practice will go away as HD becomes more the norm. As long as people will pay for it, they will continue to charge for it:)

The UFC PPV's in HD have been higher for awhile now. This is not new. I watched Affliction 2 in SD and it was fantastic. I am glad I ordered it.
