Seeing that the Super Bowl has technically already begun at the 6 o'clock hour (as far as the schedule goes) it looks like the answer is no because none of the NBC distants are on

This sucks. No HD for over here either. I do not want to watch in SD.

Im not thrilled about it myself but its better then not watching it at all.

I would think it has to do with NBC not letting Direct tv

That's a good bet.

Too bad that my NBC affiliate has abysmal OTA reception.

Channel 82 is on right now. Turn and watch the game in HD!!!!!!!!! Channel 393 is on as well. Now is your chance to see the game in HD. Better late then never.

It aint been on that long. I been checking throughout the game. Maybe some of the 3rd QTR but I doubt much longer.

just checked, my ota nbc affiliate is broadcasting in 1080i.... So I guess if I had an interest in it I could watch it in HD without the Sat. delay.
My equipment:
1 HR22-100 leased
1 HR22-100 owned
1 HR23-700 owned
1 R22-100 owned
1 R22-200 owned

Slimline III with a 4X8 multiswitch and an SWM8
18" round dish with a 4X8 switch on the garage

We have local NBC OTA, and it looks like 393 is working for me as well. But a buddy 90 miles away does not have NBC OTA in HD and does not get 393. So it must be selective.

He should be able to get 393 now as long as he has a HD capable reciever.
